OCEAN NATIONAL BANK is pleased to announce that Vice President CHRISTINA VEZIRIS has been promoted to the position of regional manager for community banking in the northern Seacoast region, including Dover and Rochester in New Hampshire, and Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Kittery, South Berwick, Wells and York in Maine. She previously managed Ocean's Dover branch and will continue to work from that location, at 537 Central Ave.

Veziris has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry. A Dover resident, she is a member of the Dover Industrial and Business Development Authority, the Wentworth Douglass Hospital Advisory Board, and the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce.

SCOTT ZIMMERMANN of the financial-services firm EDWARD JONES in Hampton has achieved the professional designation of accredited asset management specialist.

Zimmermann successfully completed the AAMS Professional Education Program from the Denver-based College for Financial Planning. Those who complete the program pass a final exam and sign a code of ethics and disclosure form to earn the AAMS designation. This advanced training offers investment professional s the hands-on information needed to provide comprehensive financial serivces. Study topics include understanding the asset management process to understanding asset allocation and strategies.

GRANITE STATE COLLEGE of the University System of New Hampshire announces the recent hiring of DIANE LAMBERT as the learner services coordinator in the college's Portsmouth Center.

Lambert's background in academic advising includes work in the federal educational opportunity programs (TRIO) based at the University of Maine, a career in secondary teaching in New Hampshire, and experience in study skills instruction. She holds a master of arts in higher education administration from Boston College, and an MAT in secondary education from the University of New Hampshire.

KENNEBUNK SAVINGS BANK is pleased to announce that JAY HALLAM of Eliot, Maine has been promoted to the position of vice president, chief risk officer. Hallam, a graduate of both the Northern New England School of Banking and the New England School of Banking at Williams College, has nearly three decades of banking experience, the last 13 years of which have been at Kennebunk Savings in commercial credit and loan underwriting.

Hallam oversees the Corporate Risk Division, which includes responsibilities for the processes and initiatives in place to ensure the safety and soundness of the bank's audit, compliance, loan review, and regulatory reporting programs. He reports to the bank's president and CEO, as well as its board of trustees.

CITIZENS BANK has announced that JEANNE HULIT has been promoted to senior vice president. Hulit is a relationship manager specialist in the commercial banking division of Citizens Bank's Maine and Seacoast New Hampshire region.

Hulit joined Citizens in 2002 and has been in banking for 15 years. Before joining Citizens, she was a vice president and relationship manager at Key Bank.

An active member of the community, she serves as chairman of the University of Southern Maine board of visitors and is a member of the board of directors of the Maine Port Authority.

Hulit received her bachelor's degree in international studies from American University in Washington, D.C. She lives in Falmouth, Maine

He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and in the U.S. District Court for New Hampshire. He is a member of the New Hampshire, Massachusetts and American Bar associations.

Standish received his bachelor of science from Northeastern University, graduating magna cum laude in 2002 and received his juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law in 2006. He currently resides in Portsmouth with his wife Lynne, a biology teacher at Portsmouth High School.

SEACOAST HOSPICE Executive Director SUSAN E. COLE, was certified recently as an advanced hospice administrator by the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION FOR HEALTH SERVICES AT HOME, a national accrediting organization. The certification is awarded to senior managers with more than three years of administrative experience and who have attended the hospice administrator certificate program, successfully passing the post-course exam. Cole has served as the executive director of Seacoast Hospice since 1997 and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the National Hospice and Palliative Organization, and the McConnell Tenants Collaborative.

LEADERSHIP NEW HAMPSHIRE has chosen MATT MOWRY of Rochester and BETSEY ANDREWS PARKER of Dover as part of the 35-member Class of 2007. Mowry and Andrews Parker will take part in the intensive 10-month program that trains and builds a network of leaders for the state of New Hampshire. Mowry is the editor of Business NH Magazine and editorial director of Interface Tech News. The U.S. Small Business Administration recently named him the 2006 Small Business Journalist of the Year for New Hampshire and New England. He serves on the board of directors of the HUB Family Resource Center in Dover and as vice president of the board of directors for Our House for Girls. He lives in Rochester with his wife Lisa.

Andrews Parker is the executive director of the Northern Strafford County Health and Safety Council. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, she also has master's degree of public health from Boston University School of Public Health. She serves on the board of the Dover Rotary Club, the board of the N.H. Public Health Association and the advisory board for the Endowment for Health. She lives with her husband and three children in Dover.

In response to expanding client services and programs, INTERLOCKS SALON & DAY SPA of Newburyport, Mass., has appointed ERIN HOLLORAN of Portsmouth as director of massage therapy and body services and JENNIFER PRESTON of Kittery, Maine as director of group services. A licensed massage therapist, Halloran has developed a loyal client following especially for her skill in therapeutic and deep-tissue massage. She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Preston has worked at Interlocks for four years and served previously as guest coordinator, scheduling and coordinating client services for the salon and day spa. She later became a certified massage therapist.

COLDWELL BANKER RESIDENTIAL BROKERAGE of Portsmouth has promoted JIM MCKEON to NRT senior vice president for brokerage support. McKeon, who served the past four years as president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Northern New England, will now oversee NRT's national efforts in title, mortgage, insurance, relocation, REO and commercial real estate. NRT is the parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. The newly combined company will now operate as Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Central and Northern New England.

THE RIVERWOODS AT EXETER retirement community recently named DIANE CIRA as its new director of resident life. Cira most recently worked as executive director and served 10 years at The Highlands at Pittsford, a continuing care retirement community near Rochester, N.Y.

SERVICE CREDIT UNION of Portsmouth has made the following new hires and staffing changes at five locations. At the Portsmouth in-store Wal-Mart branch, new hires include NICOLE BRADY and Rachel King as financial service representatives, level I. At the Lafayette Road Portsmouth branch the real estate department welcomed ANA MARIA BROWN as real estate lending processor. At the Salem branch located inside Wal-Mart, ELSIE YVETTE AMILL was hired as a financial service representative I. At the Keene branch, PATRICIA LEWANDOWSKI was promoted to member service representative level II. In Rochester, MEGAN BABEL moved to the position of courtesy pay administrative representative.

At the Portsmouth Wal-Mart branch, TRISTIN JENKINS joins the team as financial service representative I. In the member service center in Rochester, RYAN HEALY was promoted from staff auditor to business analysis coordinator and RANDY CORBIN joined the Contact Center as contact center administrative representative. JILL OSBORN and HALLIE MACDONALD have joined the Keene branch as member service representatives. At the Wal-Mart in-store branch in Manchester, KATEY MYERS joined as a financial services representative.

She works out of the bank's Center Street office in Exeter. MATT MCFARLAND, a broker in the Personal Financial Management Services Group, has been promoted to vice president. He works out of the bank's State Street office in downtown Portsmouth. NANCY ROSSITER, a business services representative, has been promoted to vice president. She works out of the bank's Central Avenue office in Dover.

ROBIN SCHELL of Amesbury, Mass., and STACEY SMITH of Rye, both senior counselors with the public relations and management consulting firm JACKSON JACKSON & WAGNER of Exeter, were recently named to the PUBLIC RELATIONS SOCIETY OF AMERICA COLLEGE OF FELLOWS. Only 2 percent of PRSA's more than 21,000 members have been selected as members. College of Fellows candidates must have 20 years or more of experience in the public relations field, and are selected based on their exceptional contributions to the advancement of the public relations profession. Schell and Smith recently joined 13 other public relations professionals chosen for this honor at a black tie induction ceremony in Salt Lake City, Utah. Schell, a 1984 graudate of the University of New Hampshire, serves on the Board of Fellowship for the Main Street Congregational Church and volunteers in the schools through Amesbury Rotary's "Readers are Leaders" program. Smith, who received her master's in organization development from Antioch New England Graduate School in 1991, is a member of the Children's Museum of Portsmouth board, manages Web communications for Temple Israel Dover and volunteers for a variety of local school activities.

STRATHAM PHYSICAL THERAPY has appointed STEVE SWASEY to the position of physical therapist assistant. In his clinical role, Swasey is responsible for carrying out treatment plans directed by and under the guidance of patents' primary physical therapist. As a partner in Stratham Physical Therapy, the York, Maine, resident will assist in day-to-day operations and business development. Swasey graduated from Denver Technical College and has worked with patients in the Stratham region for the past several years.

VICKIE ROUTHIER has joined PROFILE BANK of Rochester as the marketing director. Routhier has more than nine years of marketing experience and has held positions such as assistant vice president and marketing officer, marketing communications manager and marketing operations manager. Routhier is a resident of Strafford and attended Dover High School and McIntosh College. She will be based at Profile Bank's Rochester branch.

DOVER AUTO WORLD has appointed DAVID PRESCOTT as Chevrolet, Porsche, and Audi sales manager. Prescott is thrilled to return to Dover Auto World where he previously worked two years ago. A 25-year veteran of the automotive industry, Prescott will work alongside his older brother, DICK PRESCOTT, the company's Chevrolet, Porsche and Audi parts manager. Prescott, a native of Georgetown, Mass., and former police officer, now resides in Haverhill, Mass., with his wife and their three adopted Russian children: David, Alexandra and Nicholas.
