SEACOAST MEDIA GROUP of Portsmouth recently hired KYMBERLEE L. LAWTON as its new ADVERTISING DIRECTOR. Lawton joins the company after eight years at THE BOSTON GLOBE as director of advertising strategy. Before that, she worked as a marketing manager for the VALLEY NEWS of Ventura, Calif. Lawton is a graduate of Pepperdine University. She lives in Rye with her husband and two children.

RELYCO SALES, Inc. added two new employees to their offices located in the Cocheco Falls Millworks building in downtown Dover. TRISH MURDOCH was added as an ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE to Relyco’s ever growing Telesales Department. Murdoch has more than 20 years experience in the retail and sales industries. UNITED WAY OF THE GREATER SEACOAST recognized ROXANNE JEWELL, HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER at BRAZONICS, Inc., as the 2005 EMPLOYEE CAMPAIGN MANAGER. Jewell has been employed at the Hampton-based manufacturing firm and served as the workplace campaign manager for UNITED WAY for the past 10 years. In 2005, Jewell and her seven-person committee orchestrated an annual campaign where total contributions through payroll deduction were up 20 percent over the previous year. The TIMBERLAND COMPANY of Stratham announces the appointment of ROSALEE HERMENS as VICE PRESIDENT and CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER. She will be responsible for development and execution of Timberland’s global information systems and strategies. Prior to joining TIMBERLAND, Hermens was the founder and principal of HERMENS AND ASSOCIATES, a strategic IT management consulting firm. Before leading the consulting firm, she was vice president and chief information officer for ASPEN TECHNOLOGY, Inc. Prior to Aspen, she spent 11 years at COMPAQ / Digital Equipment Corporation. Hermens graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of Oregon and from Yale with a masters of arts in administrative science.

AIDS RESPONSE-Seacoast, the AIDS service organization that provides direct assistance to persons living with HIV/AIDS and prevention education programs for the Seacoast, has announced the appointment of ANNE RUGG as their new EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. Rugg began her career working in direct service, case management, and advocacy for people living with developmental disabilities. She went on to become the founding executive director of THE HOUSING PARTNERSHIP in 1987, a nonprofit affordable housing agency based in Portsmouth, until 2002 when she and her husband started their own garden-art company in Eliot, Maine. "Creating a business has been an exciting and challenging endeavor," Rugg wrote in a letter to the ARS Search Committee. "But I am now ready and eager to get back to my life’s work - being of service to the community."
