BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF THE GREATER SEACOAST received funds raised by SEACOAST HARLEY DAVIDSON as the company's charity of the year for 2006. BBBS has been serving children throughout Rockingham and Strafford counties since 1977. In 2006 more than 600 children received services through BBBS. The goal of the agency is to reach 1,000 children by 2010.

GRUBB & ELLIS|COLDSTREAM REAL ESTATE ADVISORS, INC., a leading provider of integrated commercial real estate services, announces it has secured STARBUCKS COFFEE as a lead tenant for the EPPICENTER, a retail strip plaza located on Route 125 in Epping, New Hampshire that is now under construction.

The EppiCenter is located directly across from the entrance to Lowe's and the Super Wal-Mart, among others, and will eventually consist of 13,890 square feet with individual, in-line units ranging in size from 1,133 square feet to 1,800 square feet, which can be combined to accommodate larger retailers. Starbucks will occupy the property's pad site in a 1,766 square foor building. Another tenant of the strip plaza is expected to be a bank on the end cap.

JOHN MUELLER of Grubb & Ellis|Coldstream's Portsmouth office procured Starbucks, and is the exclusive leasing agent for the developers, EppiCenter, LLC of Portsmouth, NH.

LAMPREY BROTHERS, a full-service heating and cooling company since 1923, of North Hampton, has recently redeveloped its Web site, www.LampreyBrothers.com. The enhancements were performed and implemented by CRYSTALVISION, Portsmouth's premier provider of Web-based solutions and e-marketing services. The redevelopment encompassed updates to the current content, integrating improved user interface features and search engine optimization. Lamprey decided upon CrystalVision due to the companh's longevity in the Web development industry and for its superior client services.

BONNIE CLAC (Car Loans and Counseling), a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the ownership of new cars affordable to everyone through guaranteed, low interest loans, celebrated the grand opening of its new Exeter office on Jan. 31.

The free event was a celebration that focused on car buying and was co-sponsored by the Women's Fund of N.H. and Ocean National Bank. The event was held at the High School Annex at 56 Linden St. in Exeter and was catered by the Seacoast School of Technology.

A New Hampshire-based organization, Bonnie CLAC helps individuals to purchase fuel efficient, new cars and guarantees loans to gain a very low interest rate for its clients. Bonnie CLAC teaches a financial literacy course which helps individuals understand their credit and learn to manage their expenses.

AWARDS

THE PEASE DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (PDA) recently received honors from both the group known as THE PEASE GREETERS and the U.S. COAST GUARD. PDA Chairman ARTHUR NICKLESS accepted the awards during the authority's monthly board meeting held at the Pease International Tradeport.

The Pease Greeters were established in 2005 as a nonprofit organization made up of veterans and private citizens. To date, greeters have welcomed or helped send off more than 10,000 U.S. soldiers who have come through the air terminal at the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease either en route to war zones in both Iraq and Afghanistan or home from their deployments.

U.S. Coast Guard members thanked the PDA for its assistance regarding the successful visit of "America's Tall Ship," the USCGC Eagle to Portsmouth Harbor this past August. The 295-foot vessel, which serves as the training cutter for future officers of the U.S. Coast Guard, hosted 7,707 visitors during its four day visit -- the largest turnout for the ship's entire 2007 summer cruise.

N. H. BUSINESS RESOURCE CENTER Business Development Manager JOHN DiNAPOLI was recently honored with the 2006 PRESIDENT'S AWARD by the N. H. COMMERCIAL INVESTMENT BOARD OF REALTORS. DiNapoli was recognized for his efforts on behalf of the New Hampshire real estate community including serving as 2006 N.H. CIBOR statewide marketing chairman and 2005 CIBOR president. Under his leadership, NH CIBOR membership grew 16 percent to 540 members.

NANCY BEVERIDGE and PAM KIRBY, sales associates with the COLDWELL BANKER RESIDENTIAL BROKERAGE office in Portsmouth, recently have been honored with the PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE AWARD. This award is given to those individuals whose dedication and perseverance have earned them recognition as company leaders. Beveridge and Kirby will be honored at the International Business Conference to be held in March in Las Vegas, Nev.

THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, EMPLOYER SUPPORT OF THE GUARD AND RESERVE, (ESGR) presented the PRO PATRIA AWARD, to the NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE POLICE.

COL. FRED BOOTH accepted on behalf of the division which he leads. This award, which means "For the Country" in Latin, is the highest that can be awarded by the N.H. Committee, ESGR. It is presented once each year to the employer who demonstrates exceptional support for the national defense by adopting superior personnel policies that help employees to participate in the Guard and Reserve.

WRIGHT-PIERCE, a civil and environmental engineering firm in Portsmouth, is pleased to announce its 60th anniversary. Founded in 1947 by civil engineers Frank Wright and William Pierce, Wright-Pierce continues to be guided by the founders' old fashioned values and Yankee ingenuity.

In the early years, the Wright-Pierce focus was on surveying and civil/highway engineering work. With growing interest in cleaning up the nation's waterways in the 1960s, Wright-Pierce expanded its environmental engineering practice to include water and wastewater engineering services. Living Innovations, which has eight offices throughout New England, stretching from Salem to Bangor, Maine, provides support services to senior citizens, individuals with long-term illnesses or developmental disabilities and children with health and behavioral needs to help optimize their quality of life, both at home and in the community.

In addition to offering assistance with personal and respite care, companionship, day-to-day chores, health monitoring and nursing assistance within its clients' homes, Living Innovations is expanding its options for seniors with Home Share. People selecting the Home Share option will be carefully matched with a trained home provider family. Clients will have a comfortable private room, home-cooked meals, companionship, access to community activities and other services to meet their specific needs, at a cost that is comparable to conventional assisted living facilities.

Two seasoned entrepreneurs have teamed up to form the new agency, DARCI CREATIVE, LLC. DARCI KNOWLES and CHET HOMER have announced the opening of the agency's new location at 47 Bow Street in downtown Portsmouth.

Knowles' long career in communications has won her numerous honors, including several national Telly Awards for excellence in television advertising. Having owned and managed several advertising companies, Knowles is knowledgeable in numerous areas, including creative direction, copywriting, innovative online marketing tools, and film and broadcast production.

Homer, co-founder of DARCI CREATIVE, brings years of business success to the company. Homer has owned, developed and expanded many businesses including Shawnee Peak Ski Resort, Tom's of Maine and Ocean National Bank. He has a proven track record with his unique business ideas and strategies for growth.

BRESETTE + CO. of Portsmouth has signed an agreement to become agency of record for Bioceutica, a subsidiary of Ideal Health, which is based in Dallas, Tex., and maintains offices at 12 Kent Way, Newbury, Mass.

Bresette will create a complete branding initiative, a new Web site, flash presentations, a direct-mail program and collateral materials, including a magazine. Bresette's capacity to fulfill all marketing needs for the health-focused company in an incredible three week time frame resulted in the selection.

Bioceutica has a unique niche in the supplements industry, as it offers customized nutritional profiles for each consumer, based upon individual testing. They offer a system that is personalized, convenient, and effective.

In other news, Bresette + Company has been recognized with 11 winning entries in The 2006 Davey Awards. With more than 3,500 entries from across the U.S. and around the world, The Davey Awards exclusively honor the "Davids" of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock -- the sort of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets.

Bresette + Company has been honored with Gold awards for the TV commercials they created for Wentworth-Douglass Cancer Center services, and for print collaterals in the form of the annual report the company created for LRGH. The company was also recognized for TV commercials in the "Low Budget" category, demonstrating the ability to make the most of each client investment.

The Davey Awards competition is judged and overseen by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), an organization of more than 200 leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts.
