ENSKY CORPORTATION in Rochester has been selected as the new advertising agency by IC Federal Credit Union.
The company has also been selected to redesign ICFCU’s Web site, including a new online banking module. EnSky will also concentrate on updating the credit union’s brand image and communication efforts.
MADELEINE’S DAUGHTER in Portsmouth was recently featured in Bridal Buyer, a United Kingdom bridal-industry news magazine. The bridal shop was one of the nine U.S. bridal shops featured in the publication. Madeleine’s Daughter was recognized for its atmosphere and customer service.
CALYPSO COMMUNICATIONS, a Portsmouth public relations, marketing, and graphic design agency,has recently added six new companies to its client list. They are Celunol Corp., an equity-funded startup with corporate headquarters in Dedham, Mass.; Rohm and Haas Company, an international specialty materials company with annual sales revenue of ap-proximately $8 billion; TFMoran Inc., a Bedford-based commercial and residential land planning firm; Nurse Audit Inc., an auditing firm serving healthcare clients and based in Portsmouth; General Linen Service Co. Inc., with headquarters in Somersworth; and Tobey & Merrill Insurance, a Hampton-based insurance agency.
ROBERT W. GRAY CONSTRUCTION of Rye, has selected CRYSTALVISION Web Site Design and In-ternet Services to design, develop, host and maintain its new Web site. Gray Construction specializes in custom additions, remodeling, new construction and light commercial projects. CrystalVision, based in Portsmouth, was selected due to their longevity in the dynamic Web services industry and for the additional value they provide to their clients.
Awards
United Way of the Greater Seacoast presented the Spirit of Giving Award to BOTTOMLINE TECHNOLOGIES, a global provider of payments and invoice automation software headquartered in Portsmouth. The award recognizes outstanding workplace campaign support among employees and over-all excellence during the 2005 annual community campaign.
Bottomline raised more than $100,000 for United Way, which represented a 31 percent increase over the previous year.
In accepting the award, Bottomline CEO JOSEPH MULLEN, who served as the 2005 Campaign chair-man and is a board member for United Way of the Greater Seacoast, reminded his employees, "This is your United Way. Your contributions are staying right here in our community to improve people's lives.”
CALYPSO COMMUNICATIONS, a Portsmouth public relations, marketing, and graphic design agency, announced that it has won a Summit Creative Award (silver) for the development, writing, and design execution of Babcock Power Inc.'s 2005 annual review. This is the second year in a row that Babcock Power, a Danvers, Mass., power generation services corporation, has hired Calypso to produce the company's annual review.
"Creating annual reviews that successfully position companies in a global marketplace is one of our spe-cialties," said ELVIS ZUKOVIC, Calypso creative director.
LISA BONCI of BONCI ON DESIGN in Kittery Point, Maine, has been recognized in the Third An-nual National Service Industry Advertising Awards.
Merit awards were awarded to Bonci for newspaper and magazine ads and bronze awards were awarded for magazine and transit ads for two local resturants. A gold award was awarded for a magazine ad for a realty firm.
YELLOW STEEL located in Portsmouth has been awarded the Award of Distinction from the Interna-tional Communicator Awards Panel.
The award is given to public relations and communications agencies who submit outstanding work. En-tries were judged by an internatioal panel of industry professionals.

WTSN AM 1270 was recognized with two awards representing excellence in news and talk broadcasting at the New Hampshire Associated Press Broadcasters Banquet in Concord. WTSN’s “Open Mike Pro-gram with MIKE POMP” received a first place award in the category of Talk and Public Affairs. The WTSN news department was also recognized in the Spot News category with an award for its coverage of last November’s Municipal Elections in Portsmouth, Dover, Somersworth and Rochester.
COLDWELL BANKER WALSH Real Estate of Stratham, announced awards and recognition from Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation. Coldwell Banker Walsh Real Estate was designated as one of the top four real estate agencies in New Hampshire by total listing units. The office was also designated in the top five for adjusted gross commission income and for total units sold. These designations are for the fourth quarter of 2005.

Franchise survey
FRANCHISE BUSINESS REVIEW in Portsmouth is launching a new program designed to monitor franchise owner satisfaction levels.
The FOOD 50 Survey will ask franchise owners questions related to ownership experience. The ques-tions will cover demographic and lifestyle habits for a complete view of the franchise experience.

BRIAN M. RODONETS of COASTAL ARCHITECTS in Epping was selected to design the new corpo-rate headquarters for LEAD SOURCE INC.
The new building will feature 8,000 square feet of office and workspace for the company. An additional 6,000 square feet of leased office space will also be included in the building.
New Ownership
LINEAR RETAIL PROPERTIES, LLC has purchased a 16,251-square-foot retail strip center known as BROOKS PLAZA in Hampton for $1.725 million. The four-tenant center, located at 356 Lafayette Road, is the 14th property purchased by Linear Retail since its formation in late 2003 and its sec-ond property in New Hampshire.
According to WILLIAM J. BECKEMAN, president & CEO of Linear Retail, “This is our smallest pur-chase to date but it is absolutely consistent with our focused strategy to amass a very large portfolio of small to mid-sized retail properties throughout our region. We were attracted by Brooks Pharmacy’s ten-ancy, the property’s strong identity on Route 1 and the location’s outstanding long-term potential.”
The seller, JOSEPH LORUSSO II, stated, “It was hard to give up ownership of this property. My father built it in the late 1960s and my family has operated it ever since. For a variety of reasons, it just seemed like the right time to sell and Linear Retail’s strong track record convinced me that they were the right buyer.”

MARK OLIVER is the new owner of Garrett PLUMBING and HEATING, located in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Oliver completed the purchase of the company from BOB and JEANNINE PETIT. Oliver most recently served as CFO of M&W SEWALL & COMPANY.
